We saw a bear! He was just outside Miami, AZ near the gold and copper mine. He ran along the car, then crossed the road and climbed up the rocky mountain.

It is on 60 between Globe and Show Low on an apache reservation.

Salt river canyon in az is one of the most spectacular places we have ever seen. Only got a couple of pics and it didn't do it justice. We have to come back.

Tom has nothing to say about meteor. It was very cool. A big deep hole in the ground in the middle of the desert. Tom wants a meteor to fall through the roof

Definitely need to return. Became a ghost town in 60's and people started returning and fixing the bldgs. Very artsy. On 89A.
