Nine Stories by J.D. Salinger

Ok. read the first 2-3. I guess I just don't like short stories. They tend to leave me unsettled. the book was published in 1948 and it is strange to take a step back in time. However, when I fall into the setting, I find I am able to bring the scene to present day with limited signs of generation gaps, such as cab fare.
